Neostigmine Methylsulfate Injection, USP is a prescription drug supplied in 10 x 10 mL multiple dose vials. Each mL of the injection contains 1 mg of Neostigmine Methylsulfate, Phenol 45 mg (used as a preservative), Sodium Acetate Trihydrate 0.2 mg, Water for Injection. It is used for intravenous use only and pH adjusted, if required, with Sodium HydroxidelAcetic Acid. The package insert has the usual dosage details. The medicine should be stored at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F), protected from light and kept in the carton until the time of use.*
