Lox Label New
Oxygen Refrigerated Liquid USP is a dangerous oxidizer and can cause or intensify fires and cryogenic burns or injury. It contains refrigerated gas and may explode on ignition or impact when in contact with combustible materials. Proper safety precautions include handling it only when all precautions have been read and understood, keeping and storing it away from flammable materials, using and storing it only outdoors or in a well-ventilated place, and wearing protective equipment such as cold insulating gloves, face shield, and eye protection. It should only be used with appropriate equipment that is compatible with oxygen service and rated for cylinder pressure, and one should not attempt to change or force fit connections. In the case of a spill, avoid walking on or rolling the equipment over the spill. Finally, read and follow the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. If there is skin contact with liquid oxygen, thaw frosted parts with lukewarm water and seek medical attention. This product is only for emergency use and must be administered by properly trained personnel for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation. For other medical applications, a prescription is required. Produced by Air Liquefaction.*
