MINIVLAR 30 is an oral contraceptive pill that contains Ethinyl Estradiol (0.03mg) and Levonorgestrel (0.15mg). It is used for birth control purposes. However, it is not recommended for smokers over 35 years of age and those who have high blood pressure, high levels of triglyceride fats or a history of jaundice, migraines, visual disturbances or other severe headaches. Additionally, it is contraindicated for patients who have a history of thrombophlebitis or thromboembolic diseases, breasts, or other estrogen-dependent tumors, abnormal vaginal bleeding, or cholestatic jaundice. The daily dosage is one tablet to be taken for 28 days with possible variations depending on the individual condition.
