Younggaksan is a drug that is used to loosen phlegm and thin bronchial secretions, which helps to get rid of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive. It contains several active ingredients such as powdered platycodon root, powdered senega, apricot kernel and powdered gheyrhia. This product is temporarily used to relieve cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation which may occur with the common cold or inhaled irritants. It is recommended to ask a doctor before using it, especially for people with a persistent or chronic cough, cough accompanied by too much phlegm or those with asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. This medication is not intended for children under 5 years old. The drug is distributed by Pak Frontier Marketing Corp and made in South Korea.*
