GYNO-BETADINE is a vaginal wash that contains 720mg of Policresulen solution as an active antiseptic ingredient. It is used for local treatment of vaginal infections such as candida vaginitis, trichomonas vaginitis, non-specific and mixed infections, pre-operative treatment of obstetrics and gynecology, and local cleaning and release. It is important to not use it in the rectum, eyes or if you have rectal bleeding, vaginal discharge, or diaper rash. The product needs to be diluted with water and applied once or twice daily, along with periodic sterilizable vaginal cleaning and deodorization. It must be stored at a controlled temperature of 20-25°C. If the condition worsens, persists for more than 7 days or re-occurs within a few days, a doctor should be consulted.
