GYNO-BETADINE is a vaginal suppository containing Povidone Iodine (200mg) used for the treatment of vaginal infections such as candida and trichomonas vaginitis, as well as cleaning and release prior to surgery. It should only be used vaginally and never in the eyes, for longer than one week or on individuals who have an allergy or are sensitive to iodine. The suppository should be inserted deeply into the vagina once a day, preferably at bedtime. It can be adjusted according to age and symptoms. Always store at a controlled temperature of 20-25 degrees C (68-77 degrees F) and keep this product out of reach of children. If swallowed, contact a Poison Control Centre immediately.
