Representativeloxlabel (Loxlabel)
This label belongs to a container of refrigerated liquid USP oxygen. The container should always be kept upright to avoid accidents due to its extremely cold oxidizing liquid and gas under pressure that accelerates combustion. Smoking in the presence of oxygen should be avoided, and combustibles in contact with liquid oxygen may explode on ignition or impact. Liquid oxygen can cause severe frostbite and should be kept away from oil, grease, and combustibles. Suitable equipment should be used for oxygen service, and it should be stored and used with adequate ventilation. In case of frostbite, medical treatment should be obtained immediately. Oxygen should only be used on patients with resuscitative equipment and pressure reducing equipment designed for oxygen.*
