This product is a pain relief spray containing Lidocaine 4%. It is an external analgesic used for temporary relief of pain and itching associated with sunburn, minor burns, cuts, scrapes, insect bites, and minor skin irritations. It is important to follow the directions for use and keep the product away from eyes. The spray should be shaken well before use. Adults and children over 2 years old can apply it to the affected area up to 3 to 4 times daily. Children under 2 years old should consult a doctor. The product should not be used on large areas of the body or on blistered or broken skin. It is flammable and should be kept away from heat or open flame. If the condition worsens, symptoms persist for more than 7 days, or irritation develops, it is recommended to stop using the product and consult a doctor. Keep it out of reach of children and seek medical help if swallowed. The inactive ingredients include water, alcohol denat, propylene glycol, glycerin, and various plant extracts. The product is not manufactured or distributed by Chattem, Inc.®, the owner of the registered trademark Aspercreme®. The pain relief spray is manufactured by DermaCare Research Labs, LLC. It comes in a 4 oz (113 g) bottle and claims to numb pain away, leave no greasy residue, and spray at any angle.*
