OPTASE® Dry Eye INTENSE Drops is a solution in single-dose containers that is intended for relieving symptoms of dry eyes such as irritation and burning sensations. It can also be used as a protectant against further irritation from dry eyes. The drops contain Glycerin, which acts as a humectant to moisturize and protect the eyes. They do not contain alcohol, preservatives, or ingredients of animal origin, making them safe for contact lens wearers. The instructions for use include washing hands before use, opening the pouch and removing the strip of single-dose containers, opening the container by twisting and pulling the tab, placing a drop in the eye, closing the eyes and pressing the inner corner of the eye for 1-2 minutes to prevent the drop from running into the throat. The single-dose container should be discarded after use.*

OPTASE® Dry Eye Intense Drops are a medication used for the treatment of dry eyes. The drops should be used externally only and precautions should be taken to avoid contamination. If the solution changes color or becomes cloudy, it should not be used. Individuals who are sensitive to any of the ingredients should not use the product. After each use, the remaining liquid in the single-dose container should be discarded and the container should not be damaged or punctured. The container is meant for single-person use only. The eye and contact lenses should not come into contact with the tip of the container. The drops should not be used after the expiry date. There should be at least a 15-minute gap between the application of OPTASE® Dry Eye Intense Drops and other ophthalmic medications. The product should be kept out of the reach and sight of children. It should be stored below 25°C/77°F and protected from direct sunshine and heat. The empty single-dose container should be disposed of properly. If there is any pain, changes in vision, redness or irritation of the eye, or if the condition worsens or lasts more than 72 hours, use should be discontinued and medical advice should be sought.
