This is a description of a Hemorrhoid Cream. The cream provides prompt relief from painful burning, itching, and discomfort associated with hemorrhoids. The active ingredients include mineral oil, petrolatum, and Phenylephrine HCl. It temporarily shrinks hemorrhoidal tissue, relieves burning, and provides a coating for relief of anorectal discomforts. The cream is for external use only and should not be used more than the recommended daily dosage without doctor's direction. Certain precautions are mentioned such as not using the cream if bleeding occurs, condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, and if the introduction of the applicator into the rectum causes additional pain. It is advised to consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The cream should be kept out of reach of children and if swallowed, medical help or contact with a Poison Control Center should be sought.
