Madecassol is a drug used for the temporary relief of itching associated with minor skin irritations and rashes due to eczema, insect bites, poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac, soaps detergents, cosmetics jewelry, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, external genital and anal itching. It contains neomycin suftate and titrated Ext. of Centella Asiatica as the active ingredients. This drug should be used externally only and should not be used in the eyes, rectum or by mechanical devices. It is recommended to consult with a doctor before using it as a precaution when exceeding the recommended dosage. The users should stop its use and ask a doctor if a condition gets worse or persists for more than seven days. The drug also has inactive Ingredients such as cetostearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium lauryl sulfate, white petrolatum. Additionally, it is instructed to apply the affected area with Madecassol three to four times a day. The product is distributed by P&K Frontier Marketing Corporation, located in Palisades Park.*
