Label Cough
This is a drug for temporary relief of cough that helps to loosen mucus and bronchial secretions to make coughs more productive. Its active ingredients include guaifenesin and dextromethorphan HBr. It is an expectorant and a cough suppressant. If cough lasts for over 7 days or is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache, it is essential to consult a doctor. This drug is not suitable for people who have a chronic pulmonary disease, shortness of breath, or are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). Keep out of reach of children, and in case of accidental overdose, contact a Poison Control Center right away. The recommended dosage should not be exceeded, and parents should not use it for more than seven days. The drug should be stored at room temperature and protected from excessive heat.
