This is an over-the-counter drug product that can be used to relieve itching, irritation, and burning sensations in the eyes that are caused by dryness. It is an eye lubricant that can be used as a protection against further irritation or to alleviate dryness of the eyes. The product contains Sodium Chloride and Water in addition to the active ingredient, Glycerin. It may cause severe eye pain, vision changes, prolonged irritation, or condition worsening, a doctor may need to be consulted. The drug has to be administered externally, and the container should not come into contact with any surface to avoid contamination. It is not to be used if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy. The drug should be kept out of children's reach, and if swallowed, medical care should be sought immediately. The drug should be directly applied to the eye by putting one to two drops for each eye. It is not available for sale yet, according to the patent line.*
