This is a medication guide for the subcutaneous infusion of Empaveli, which is an injection that contains 1,080mg/20mL (54mg/mL) of pegcetacoplan. The medication is available in a single-dose vial and the unused portion should be discarded. The drug must be refrigerated between 2°C-8°C (36°F-46°F) and removed from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before use. The vial contains pegcetacoplan, Sobitol, glacial acetic acid, sodium acetate trinydrate, and Water for Injection, USP. Empaveli may also contain sodium hydroxide and/or additional glacial acetic acid for adjustment to a target pH of 5.0. NDC 73606-010-01 is the National Drug Code for this medication.
