This is a drug facts label for a topical solution hand sanitizer called ETHYL ALCOHOL 709. It contains ethyl alcohol at a concentration of 70% V/v and is used as an antiseptic to help reduce bacteria that may cause disease on hands when soap and water are not available. It comes in a tote of 1249 liters and is flammable. The product is not recommended for use on children less than 2 months of age or on open skin wounds. It should be kept out of eyes, ears, and mouth, and if swallowed, medical help should be sought immediately. The sanitizer should be placed on hands until all surfaces are covered, and rubbed together until dry. Children under six years of age should be supervised to avoid swallowing the product. The product should be stored between 15-30C (59-86F) and should be avoided freezing or exposure to excessive heat above 40C (104F). The inactive ingredients include deionized water, polyethylene glycol, AMP-acrylates viny! isodecanoate crosspolymer, and glycerin.*
