This is a drug facts label for Alcohol Antiseptic 80% Topical Solution. It is a WHO-recommended handrub formulation that can help reduce bacteria that cause diseases. It is to be used by healthcare personnel and when soap and water are not available. The solution must not be used on children less than two months of age or on open skin wounds. It should be kept away from eyes, ears, and mouth. If it comes in contact with the eyes, they should be rinsed thoroughly with water. It should be used with supervision for children under six years of age. The product must be stored between 15-30C (59-86F) and should be kept away from freezing and excessive heat above 40C (104F). The inactive ingredients are glycerin 1.45%, hydrogen peroxide 0.125%, purified water USP. The manufacturer is the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.*
