This is a drug fact label for a hand sanitizer. It contains 70% ethyl alcohol and is used as an antiseptic to decrease bacteria on the skin when soap and water are not available. It comes with the warning not to use on children less than 2 months of age and on open skin wounds. It is important to keep away from heat sources as it is flammable. One should keep out of eyes, ears, and mouth when using the sanitizer. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water. It is not advisable to store above 115°F because it can discolor some fabrics, damage wood finishes or plastics. It contains inactive ingredients such as glycerin, isopropyl alcohol, PEG-6, and AMP-acrylates/vinyl isodecanoate crosspolymer, purified water.*
