This is a description of TriChem Industries' Alcohel Antiseptic 70% Topical Gel Hand Sanitizer, a non-sterile solution intended to help reduce bacteria that potentially cause disease. It is manufactured by TriChem Industries and contains 16 oz (473 ml) of product. The active ingredient is alcohol, which serves as an antiseptic. It is intended for external use only and is flammable, which is why it must be kept away from heat or flame. It is not recommended for use on children under two months of age or on open skin wounds. If it gets into the eyes, it must be rinsed out thoroughly with water. If irritation or rash occurs, a doctor should be consulted, as these could be signs of a serious condition. If swallowed, medical help or Poison Control should be contacted immediately. Directions on usage are provided: enough should be put on the hands to cover all surfaces and then rubbed until dry. Children under six years old should be supervised when using this product. It should be stored between 59- 85°F (15- 30°C), and freezing or excessive heat above 104°F (40°C) should be avoided.
