It should be used 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel-drying, or at least every 2 hours. Sun protection measures such as wearing long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses are also recommended to decrease the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. It should not be used on damaged or broken skin, and if rash occurs, a doctor should be consulted. The product should be protected from excessive heat and direct sun, and may stain some fabrics.
