This is a drug facts label of a hand sanitizer. The active ingredient is 70% Alcohol, which is used as an antiseptic to reduce bacteria that could lead to disease. The hand sanitizer is advised to be used when soap and water are not available. It warns not to use on children under two months old, on open skin wounds, and to keep away from eyes, ears, and mouth. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. It should be kept out of the reach of children and if swallowed, one should contact poison control immediately. The directions of use are to rub enough product on hands to cover all surfaces and wait until dry. Children under six years of age should be supervised when using this product to avoid swallowing.
