Its use reduces bacteria that can potentially cause disease when soap and water are not available. The product is designed for topical use only and is flammable, so it should be kept away from heat or flames. The hand sanitizer is not intended for children less than 2 months of age, or as an open-skin wound treatment. When using it, avoid contact with eyes, ears, and mouth. If rash, irritation, or a more severe condition develops, consult a doctor immediately. The product should be rubbed evenly onto hands until they become dry. Children under six years old should be supervised to avoid swallowing the hand sanitizer. The product should be stored between 15-30°C (59-86°F), avoiding both freezing and excessive heat above 40°C (104°F).
