However, it is not recommended for use on open skin wounds, on children less than 2 months of age, or near a flame. The product should be kept away from the eye, and in case of contact, it should be rinsed well with water. If irritation or redness develops, a doctor should be consulted. The product should be stored at room temperature, and it may cause damage to some surfaces such as wood finishes and plastics.
