NDC 75834-295-01 is a bottle of erythromycin ethylsuccinate oral suspension with a concentration of 200 mg per 5 mL when reconstituted. The suspension is banana flavored, and each 5 mL contains erythromycin ethylsuccinate equivalent to 200 mg of erythromycin. The usual dosage for children is 30 to 50 mg/kg/day in divided doses, and the suspension may be taken before, after, or with meals. Before mixing, the bottle should be stored below 86 F (30°C). To reconstitute, 53 mL of water should be added and the mixture shaken vigorously to create 100 mL of suspension. The bottle provides extra space to shake, and for best taste, it should be mixed at least 15 to 20 minutes before dosing.
