PENNSAID® is a topical solution of diclofenac sodium with 2% weight in weight concentration for external use only. The usual dosage is applying 2 pump activations, twice a day. It is important to dispense the enclosed Medication Guide to each patient. The solution must be applied on clean, dry skin with a few minutes for the product to dry. It is important to avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. If persistent irritation develops, the use of this product should be discontinued and a physician should be consulted.
