IDO Disinfection Ethanol is a solution containing 83% ethyl alcohol for the disinfection of hands, skin, and surgical site skin. The product warns to keep away from flames as it is highly flammable. It is not intended for use in the oral cavity, mucous membranes, and damaged skin. Users must be careful when applying the solution to avoid getting it into their eyes, and they should not inhale the vapor repeatedly or in large amounts, as it may result in irritation of their respiratory tract. If used repeatedly on the same site, the skin may become rough. To disinfect medical equipment properly, users should clean it thoroughly before applying the solution, avoiding organic substances. The product also contains directions for use, as well as inactive ingredients like water. If a rash or any allergic sensitivity symptoms appear after use, discontinue the product.
