This is a drug facts label for a hand sanitizer product called "Sanitize Plus" that contains 70% alcohol as the active ingredient in a non-sterile solution. It is intended to help reduce bacteria that can cause disease when soap and water are not available. The user is warned that the product is flammable and should be kept away from heat or flame. It should not be used on open skin wounds or in children less than 2 months of age. If the product comes into contact with eyes, rinse them thoroughly with water. If irritation or a rash occurs, the user should stop using the product and speak with a doctor as this may be a sign of a serious condition. The product should be kept out of reach of children, and, if swallowed, the user should seek medical help or contact Poison Control immediately. The directions for use indicate the user should apply enough product on their hands to cover all surfaces and rub their hands together until dry. Children under 6 years of age should be supervised when using the product to avoid swallowing.*
