The active ingredient is ethyl alcohol at 80%, and it is intended for external use only as an antiseptic to decrease bacteria on the skin. It is recommended for frequent use, but not for children under two months or on open skin wounds. If irritation or rash occurs, the product should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted. Directions for use involve wetting hands with the product and allowing them to dry without wiping; children younger than six should be supervised. The product also contains purified water, hydrogen peroxide, and glycerin. It is flammable and should be kept away from heat and flame. Store it between 15-30°C, avoiding freezing and excess heat above 40°C(1049). It is effective at eliminating 99.99% of many common harmful germs and bacteria in as little as 15 seconds and may discolor some fabrics, wood finishes, and plastics.*
