The active ingredient, ethyl alcohol, is included to aid in reducing bacteria. The gel should only be used for external purposes and is flammable, so it should be kept away from heat or flames. It should not be used on open skin wounds or on children under two months of age. In case of irritation or contact with the eyes, a doctor should be consulted. The directions for use are to apply enough to cover all surface areas of the hand and to avoid swallowing. The product also includes glycerin, deionized water, caroomer, and triethanolamine among its inactive ingredients. It is recommended to store the product between 15-30C (59-86F) and not to freeze.*
