Fludeoxvglucose F 18 Injection is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, radioactive material used for diagnostic purposes. It comes in a multiple-dose vial containing 0.74-11.1 GBq (20-300 mCilmL) of no-carrier added Fludeoxyglucose F 18 (2-deaxy-2-[*F]fluoro-D-glucose) @ EOS*and 4.5 mg of sodium chloride in citrate buffer per mL. It should not be used if it is cloudy or if it contains particulate matter. The recommended storage temperature is between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F) with excursions permitted to 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). The item has a shelf life of 109.8 minutes, and the correct dosage should be calculated from the date and time of calibration.
