The active ingredient is Ethyl Alcohol, and it is designed to eliminate bacteria on the skin. The product comes with some warnings including that it is flammable and should be kept away from fire or flame. It is not recommended to use near the eyes, and in case of contact, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. The product should be kept out of reach of children, and if swallowed, medical attention should be sought immediately. The sanitizer should be applied to both hands, rubbed into the skin until dry, and stored below 106 F (41°C).
