This is a drug fact sheet for an 80% ethyl alcohol antiseptic hand sanitizer. The purpose of the sanitizer is to reduce bacteria that can cause disease when soap and water are not available. It warns that the product is flammable and should be kept away from heat or flame. The sanitizer should not be used on open skin wounds or in children less than two months of age. In case of contact with eyes, the user should rinse eyes thoroughly with water. If swallowed, the user should contact a Poison Control Center. The user should place enough sanitizer on hands to cover all surfaces and rub hands together until dry. This is a non-sterile solution containing inactive ingredients such as glycerin, hydrogen peroxide, and purified water USP. The bottle contains 210z (59 mL) of solution.*
