This is a description of a Meijer brand allergy relief medication. It contains diphenhydramine HCI 25 mg which is an antihistamine used to temporarily relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies, and common colds. This medication should not be used to make a child sleepy and is not recommended for children under six years old. It should also be avoided in people with breathing problems, glaucoma, or enlarged prostate gland. Alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers should not be used with this medication, as they may increase drowsiness and cause excitability, especially in children. Adults and children 12 years and over may take one or two tablets every four to six hours not exceeding six doses in 24 hours. The medication should be stored between 20-25°C (63-77°F) and protected from moisture and light. Symptoms such as marked drowsiness and excitability may occur, so caution needs to be taken when driving or operating any machinery. It is used to temporarily relieve symptoms due to hay fever or upper respiratory allergies, as well as the common cold. It helps with symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, itchy and watery eyes, and itching of the nose or throat. The medication comes with a warning not to use it to make a child sleepy or to use it in combination with any other product containing Diphenhydramine. Additionally, it is advised that you ask a doctor before using it if you have difficulty breathing, glaucoma, enlarged prostate gland, or if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers. The product may cause marked drowsiness and thus caution is advised when driving or operating machinery, as well as avoiding alcoholic drinks and combining it with sedatives or tranquilizers. The medication contains calcium and it is important to keep it between 20-25°C. Other inactive ingredients include colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, dicalcium phosphate, D&C Red #27 aluminum lake, lecithin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, and titanium dioxide.
