Alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers should not be used with this medication, as they may increase drowsiness and cause excitability, especially in children. Adults and children 12 years and over may take one or two tablets every four to six hours not exceeding six doses in 24 hours. The medication should be stored between 20-25°C (63-77°F) and protected from moisture and light. Symptoms such as marked drowsiness and excitability may occur, so caution needs to be taken when driving or operating any machinery. Other inactive ingredients include colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, dicalcium phosphate, D&C Red #27 aluminum lake, lecithin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, and titanium dioxide.
