dbMBS e NlagllliSterile 3% hydrogen peroxide is an antiseptic solution used to help prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. It's also an oral debriding agent used to remove phlegm, mucus, or other secretions associated with occasional sore mouth. This antiseptic solution comes in a 16 oz bottle that's easy to use as a gargle or rinse. However, it is important to follow the directions and avoid using it in the eyes or applying it over large areas of the body for longer than one week. If irritation, pain, or redness persists, stop using the solution and ask a doctor if the condition persists or becomes worse.
