The DéMBS first aid antiseptic is a topical antiseptic and sanitizer that can be used as an antibacterial cleansing agent for minor cuts and abrasions, as well as preparation of the skin prior to an injection. The active ingredient is isopropyl alcohol (91%) which acts as a first aid antiseptic. The instructions for use state that the affected area should be cleaned and a small amount of product applied to it 1-3 times daily. If bandaged, the affected area should be allowed to dry first and may be covered with a sterile bandage. The product should not be used for more than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. This antiseptic is not intended as a substitute for grain or ethyl alcohol and should not be used on deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns. If the condition persists or gets worse, users should ask a doctor, and the product should be kept out of reach of children. Contact with eyes should be avoided and the product should only be used in a well-ventilated area, as fumes may be toxic. This first aid antiseptic is manufactured by MBS Medical Technologies Inc. in the USA, and it contains 16FL OZ (1 PT) 473mL of purified water as an inactive ingredient.*
