TEMBEXA is a medication that comes in the form of tablets and can be taken orally. The tablets contain 100 mg of brincidofovir and the recommended dose is two tablets, totaling 200 mg, to be taken once a week for two weeks. The tablets should not be split, broken, or crushed. TEMBEXA is intended for patients weighing 48 kg (106 lbs) or above and can be taken with or without food. The wallet packaging is child-resistant, and the blister card should be kept out of the reach of children. The medication should be stored at a temperature ranging from 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), and excursions are allowed from 15°C to 30°C (69°F to 86°F).
