Protect By Hand Sanitizer Gel (Ethanol) is a disinfecting agent containing 70% synthetic alcohol as an active ingredient. It is an instant hand antiseptic that reduces bacteria on the skin and is designed for healthcare personnel. However, it is for external use only and should not be used internally. The product warns that repeated ingestion of ethanol can cause irritation to mucous membranes and headaches. It should be used as per instructions and should not be used in combination with soap or antibacterial cleansing agents. The product should not be used for a long time in the same area as absorption through the skin can lead to swelling, inflammation, or sickness. If irritation or hypersensitivity symptoms persist, the use should be discontinued, and the doctor should be consulted at the earliest. Inactive ingredients in the sanitizer gel are purified water, glycerin, carbomers, trolamine, rosemary extract, matricaria extract, rose water, orange oil, and limonene.*
