Description: This is a description of a pain relieving gel called Plus®. It is a cooling and heating gel that contains 16% Menthol. It comes in a 2.5FLOZ (74 mL) size and has a no mess roll-on applicator. The gel is meant to help relieve muscle and joint pain and is fast-acting. The gel is to be applied topically on minor aches and pains associated with muscles and joints, such as backaches, arthritis, strains, bruises, and sprains. The product includes warnings for external use only, to test on a small patch of skin before applying generously, and to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. It should not be applied to wounds or damaged skin, and should not be bandaged tightly. The gel should not be used with heating pads or other heating devices. If redness or skin irritation occurs, it should be discontinued, and if condition worsens or symptoms persist for more than 7 days, a doctor should be consulted. The gel is flammable and should be kept away from fire or flame. It should be kept out of reach of children and if swallowed, medical help should be sought immediately. The directions for use include applying generously to the affected area and massaging it into the skin until thoroughly absorbed, for adults and children 12 years and older. The gel can be repeated if necessary, but no more than 3 to 4 times daily. If the medicine comes in contact with hands, it should be washed with soap and water. For children 12 years or younger, it is advised to ask a doctor. The product should be stored in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. The gel contains inactive ingredients such as acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, capsaicin, glycerin, isopropyl myristate, propylene glycol, sd alcohol, triethanolamine, and water.
