Dermeleve is an astringent lotion that contains 0.2% of aluminum acetate. It can be applied to treat insect bites, minor burns, athlete's foot, poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, and rashes caused by detergents or jewelry. This lotion should be only used externally and kept out of the reach of children. If the condition worsens or symptoms persist for over seven days, a physician should be consulted.
