VIKOT is an antiseptic solution with astringent and alkaline properties, used for disinfecting and healing wounds, scrapes, ulcers, and burns. It comes in a 40 ml container and contains potassium permanganate, benzoic alcohol, salicylic acid, and a vehicle. VIKOT can be applied directly to the affected area or with an impregnated gauze up to 5 times per day. It is ideal for people with diabetes and should not be used in people sensitive to potassium permanganate.
