VIKOT is an antiseptic solution with astringent and alkaline properties, used for disinfecting and healing wounds, scrapes, ulcers, and burns. It comes in a 40 ml container and contains potassium permanganate, benzoic alcohol, salicylic acid, and a vehicle. VIKOT can be applied directly to the affected area or with an impregnated gauze up to 5 times per day. It is ideal for people with diabetes and should not be used in people sensitive to potassium permanganate. VIKOT is manufactured by Aqua Medica, S.A. de C.V. in Mexico and is for external use on the skin only.*
