This is a non-sterile hemodialysis-grade sodium bicarbonate solution which comes in a gallon-sized container. The solution should be diluted with purified water and used with 3-pump hemodialysis machines, along with acid concentrate. The diluted solution must be transparent and colorless, and should not be used if it is cloudy or if the seal is broken. The solution provides 35.0 mEq/l of sodium bicarbonate USP.
