It is recommended for temporary relief of mucus cough, occasional minor irritation, pain, sore mouth, and sore throat. The active ingredient is Menthol, and each lozenge contains 8 mg of it. The suggested dosage for adults and children over the age of 5 is one lozenge dissolved slowly every 2 hours or as directed by a doctor. The Inactive ingredients include anethole, blackberry flavor, black currant liquid extract, carmine, cherry flavor, citric acid, clove oil, cornstarch, eucalyptus oil, gum arabic, and sugar.
