KOFIX Lozenges are a menthol cough suppressant, oral anesthetic, and relief for sore throat. It is recommended for temporary relief of mucus cough, occasional minor irritation, pain, sore mouth, and sore throat. The active ingredient is Menthol, and each lozenge contains 8 mg of it. The suggested dosage for adults and children over the age of 5 is one lozenge dissolved slowly every 2 hours or as directed by a doctor. The Inactive ingredients include anethole, blackberry flavor, black currant liquid extract, carmine, cherry flavor, citric acid, clove oil, cornstarch, eucalyptus oil, gum arabic, and sugar. Users should consult a physician promptly if a severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea, or vomiting occurs or persists.
