MUPIROCIN CREAM USP 2% is a topical cream used for dermatological purposes. Each gram of the cream contains 20 mg (2% w/w) of mupirocin, which is equivalent to 215 mg (215% w/w) of mupirocin calcium. The cream should be applied in a small amount to the affected area three times daily for a duration of 10 days. If there is no clinical response within 3-5 days, patients should be re-evaluated. The cream should be stored at a temperature of 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F) and should not be frozen. It is important not to use the cream if the seal has been punctured or is not visible.
