This is a description of ZERVIATE® (cetirizine ophthalmic solution) with a concentration of 0.24%. It comes in single-use containers with 30 containers per pack (6 pouches each containing 5 containers). The solution is intended for topical ophthalmic use and each mL contains 2.4 mg of cetirizine. The inactive ingredients include benzalkonium chloride, edetate disodium, glycerin, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol 400, polysorbate 80, sodium phosphate dibasic, and may contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment. The usual dosage is one drop in the affected eye twice daily. It should be stored at 15°C-25°C (59°F-77°F) and protected from light.
