ChestRub is a natural product containing a blend of 20 botanicals such as chamomile, pine, thyme, santal and cedar. It is recommended for rubbing and massaging the chest, neck, nape, back, forehead, and temples as it helps reduce the intensity of coughing and temporarily suppresses cough due to throat and bronchial irritation associated with a cold or irritants. The ointment should not be used on wounds or damaged skin, and must not come into contact with eyes. It is for external use only and must be stored in cool and dry place. Adults and children over 2 years of age must rub a thick layer on the chest, throat or aching muscles, and repeat up to three times per 24 hours, while children under two years must consult a doctor. The active ingredients Camphor (3%), Menthol (2%), Eucalyptus 0il (1%) have antitussive properties.*

AldaMed's ChestRub is a herbal ointment that helps reduce coughing intensity and relaxes muscles that are stressed due to coughing while releasing the respiratory airways. It contains Camphor, Menthol, and Eucalyptus oil as active ingredients which act as a topical antitussive. The ointment should not be taken by mouth, placed in nostrils, or applied to wounds, damaged skin, or with tight bandages. Children under the age of two years should only use this product after consulting a doctor. The product should be kept out of reach of children to avoid any mishaps such as skin burns or poisoning.
