CuraHIST DM is used to temporarily relieve symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, itching of the nose or throat, itchy watery eyes, and cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with a cold. It can also help alleviate cough to aid sleep. However, it is important not to exceed the recommended dosage and to consult a doctor if the cough persists for more than a week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. The medication may cause excitability or marked drowsiness, especially in children, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should seek advice from a healthcare professional before using CuraHIST DM. It should be kept out of reach of children, and in case of accidental overdose, professional help should be sought immediately. Dosage instructions vary based on age, and it is important not to use the product if currently taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or if experiencing persistent or chronic cough without consulting a doctor. It is also important to consult a doctor before use if there are pre-existing breathing problems, glaucoma, difficulty in urination, or if taking sedatives or tranquilizers. The medication is not recommended for children under 6 years of age. It should be stored at room temperature, and the safety seal should be intact before use.
