This is a description for a hair regrowth treatment. The active ingredient is Minoxidil 5% w/w. It is used to regrow hair on the scalp. The product is for external use only and should not be used on individuals under 18 years of age or on babies and children. It should also not be used if the scalp is red, inflamed, infected, irritated, or painful, or if other medicines are being used on the scalp. When using this product, avoid applying it to other parts of the body and keep it away from the eyes. It may take at least 4 months of using the product twice a day before seeing results, and the amount of hair regrowth may vary for each person. It is important to stop using the product and consult a doctor if chest pain, rapid heartbeat, faintness, dizziness, unexplained weight gain, swelling of hands or feet, scalp irritation or redness, unwanted facial hair growth, or no hair regrowth is seen in 4 months. The product is a topical foam that is applied with half a capful to the scalp in the hair loss area and massaged in with fingers. Continued use is necessary to increase and maintain hair regrowth. The product should be stored at room temperature and kept out of reach of children. If swallowed, medical help should be sought immediately.
