It serves as an antacid to relieve heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach, and upset stomach. The tablets should be chewed or crushed before swallowing. The product is comparable to Tums® Extra Strength and flavored as mixed berry. It is advised not to take more than 10 tablets in 24 hours, with a maximum of 2 weeks unless under doctor supervision. Pregnant women should not exceed 5 tablets in 24 hours. Each tablet contains 750 mg of calcium and also includes various inactive ingredients.
