This is a description of a drug called DIZOP MINOXIDIL TOPICAL GEL, 5% (FOR MEN). It is a hair regrowth treatment used to regrow hair on the scalp. The gel contains Minoxidil 5% w/w as the active ingredient. The gel is intended for external use only and should not be used on the front of the scalp, frontal baldness, receding hairline, or in cases where the reason for hair loss is unknown. It is not recommended for individuals under 18 years of age or individuals with red, inflamed, infected, irritated, or painful scalp. The product should not be used along with other medicines on the scalp. When using the gel, it should only be applied to the scalp and should be kept away from the eyes. Results may take at least 3 months of daily use to be visible, and the amount of hair regrowth varies for each person. If scalp irritation, redness, unwanted facial hair growth, or no hair regrowth after 4 months occurs, the use of the gel should be stopped. Individuals experiencing chest pain, rapid heart rate, faintness, dizziness, or heart disease should consult a doctor before using the product. The gel should be kept out of the reach of children, and if swallowed, medical help should be sought immediately. The gel should be applied by massaging 3-4 drops directly onto the scalp in the desired area and thoroughly washing hands afterward. It is important to store the product at a controlled room temperature between 5 to 30°C (41 to 86°F). The gel formulation is lightweight and contains alcohol, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, myristyl lactate, carbomer homopolymer, trolamine, polysorbate 60, sodium thiosulfate, and water as ingredients.
