The active ingredients in this sunscreen are Titanium Dioxide (4.0%) and Zinc Oxide (5.5%), serving the purpose of sunscreen. It is designed to help prevent sunburn, decrease the risk of skin cancer, and early skin aging caused by the sun. This lip sunscreen should be applied liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, and at least every 2 hours.
