This is a description of cephalexin capsules, USP, containing 500mg of cephalexin monohydrate. The capsules are to be stored at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F) and dispensed by a pharmacist following the instructions on the Medication Guide. The usual adult dosage is 250 mg every six hours, with the possibility of an increased dose for more severe infections, not to exceed 4g per day. The medication should be kept in a tight, light-resistant container, out of reach of children. The product is repackaged by Unit Dose Solutions, INC., and distributed by Tuckahoe Enterprises, LLC., with addresses in Raleigh, NC, and Henrico, VA.*
